Experience: Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) psychological services including neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population in a medical setting, schools, and private practice; immigration and citizenship evaluations; psychotherapy; teaching; and neurofeedback.
Interests: Her career goal is to provide psychological services to the Latinx/Hispanic population. Her interests include sleep disturbance, bilingualism/language, neuropsychology, anxiety, depression, trauma, immigration, acculturation, and adjustment issues using various approaches such as person-centered, CBT, and EMDR techniques prioritizing building a strong therapeutic relationship.

Interests: My interest is to work collaboratively with clients so that they can make decisions about how best to proceed with their healing. I utilize a strength-based approach in therapy to assist clients in recognizing the resources within themselves to empower them in resolving life difficulties. While working together, you can expect to uncover strengths that were already within you and bring them to light to assist your everyday self. Some of my therapeutic interventions include Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, and Psychodynamic.

Practicum experiences with individual and group counseling in schools with children and adolescents from undeserved communities; individual clinical intervention in a private practice with adults experiencing diverse mental health challenges; and providing individual and group therapy to children and adolescents at Centro Ponceño de Autismo.
Interests: I want to continue supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families from underserved communities and multicultural backgrounds as a therapist and consultant. I am also interested in being an advocate for autistic children, adolescents, and adults, especially autistic females. Even though nowadays autism has more visibility, there is still a need for understanding, empathy, and compassion towards this neurodivergent population. Stigma on mental health persists in our world; thus, being a mental health professional is a side of human history where I want to be.
