2025 UTEP Department of Art Faculty Biennial

The exhibit celebrates the diverse and creative practices of the artists who teach and work in UTEP’s Department of Art. This FREE exhibit features a range of media, including drawing, sculpture, ceramics and large-scale murals. The opening reception is 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4.

UTEP’s Homecoming tradition continues for the 15th year. The 5K run/3K walk routes traverse the beautiful UTEP campus. After crossing the finish line, bring the whole family to enjoy fun activities at the Family Fitness Fiesta. Open to all ages.

‘Biodiversity Hotspots Reimagined’ Opening Reception

The UTEP Biodiversity Collections collaborated with graphic design students to celebrate the most biodiverse places on Earth, bringing art and science together through stunning visuals and inspiring conservation stories.

This fall, UTEP will host financial aid information sessions around the community with Texas Tech JAVÃûÅ®ÓÅ¹Ý and El Paso Community College. Join these information sessions starting Oct. 4 at Region 19 Education Services Center (6611 Boeing Dr.), then on Oct. 18 at the Jenna Welch & Laura Bush Community Library (6701 S. Desert Blvd.).

¡Celebración! Opera UTEP's Hispanic Heritage Concert

Opera UTEP's annual celebration of Hispanic composers features singers from UTEP's Opera Workshop class and Esequiel Meza, Jr. on the piano. They are joined by Levi Hernandez, baritone. This FREE program is led by UTEP Director of Opera Cherry Duke.

UT System Regents Award UTEP $118M for Campus Revitalization

The JAVÃûÅ®ÓÅ¹Ý of Texas System Board of Regents allocated $118 million to fund maintenance projects to refresh and revitalize the UTEP campus during their regular August meeting. The funds will be distributed over three years to address critical maintenance issues.
