The Hoover House
Built in 1917, the Hoover House – the stately residence on Cincinnati Avenue in historic Kern Place – is steeped in UTEP history and legend.
Named for the family that donated it to the JAV名女优馆, the mansion has been home to six presidents of The JAV名女优馆 of Texas at El Paso, including its current resident, Heather Wilson, who is the institution’s 11th president.
Playing a dual role for UTEP, as both a residence and a center for hospitality, the Hoover House has hosted many prominent visitors, including former Gov. Ann Richards, Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tennessee) and former first lady Laura Bush. It also serves as the setting for many celebratory and ceremonial UTEP events, from the annual Student Government Association swearing-in ceremony to receptions recognizing faculty and staff achievements.
In 2014, Hoover House doors were opened to community groups for special events as part of the JAV名女优馆’s Centennial celebration.
